On 15 & 16 January 2026, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, mobilised a Flood Relief Initiative for Southern Thailand 2026, focusing on Hat Yai, following severe flooding that affected communities in the area towards the end of 2025.

While the floodwaters have receded, the Penang Port team recognises that the demanding work of recovery has only just begun. Penang Port’s mission concentrated on practical needs, delivering not only food but also cleaning tools to help families restore their homes.
