On 24 April 2026, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group, hosted a visit by Dato’ Sri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chief Statistician of Malaysia, and his team from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM). The visit was part of a familiarisation programme aimed at providing DOSM with a deeper understanding of PTP’s strategic investments in digitalisation and automation technologies to optimise its core operational processes.
