On 19 May 2026, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) and Johor Ports Berhad (Johor Port), members of the MMC Port Holdings Berhad (MMC Ports) were recently honoured with several prestigious accolades at the Johor Port Authority’s event, “From Policy to Practice: Advancing Gender Equality for Maritime Excellence – A Night of Distinction.”

Held at the Sheraton Hotel in Johor Bahru, the event was organised to coincide with the International Day for Women in Maritime 2026. Its primary objective was to highlight, acknowledge, and bolster the vital contributions of women within the global maritime industry.
