On 24 September 2025, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, successfully conducted a Tier 2 emergency drill exercise known as the Northport Management Exercise (NMEx) 2025. The exercise was designed to test Northports readiness in managing emergency situations and involved Northport’s Fire and Rescue Team, Port Auxiliary Police and the 40* Regiment of the Royal Army Engineers.
