On 23 February 2024, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) successfully inked an agreement with Sany Marine Heavy Industry Co. Ltd to procure six units of Ultra Large Container Vessel (ULCV) quay cranes.
On 22 February 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of MMC Group received the prestigious Integrity, Governance, and Anti-Corruption Award (AIGA) which was held at Dewan Seri Siantan, Perbadanan Putrajaya. PPSB earned the Silver Award for its exceptional initiatives, strong internal controls, and steadfast integrity commitment.
On 21 February 2024, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group, successfully completed its first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunkering operation. The landmark event involved the CMA CGM Monaco, a vehicle carrier operated by French shipping giant, CMA CGM.
On 21 February 2024, the iconic Eastern & Oriental Express Train (E&O Express), made a grand stop in Butterworth, Penang, where it was warmly welcomed by Dato' Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), along with Valentin Waldman, General Manager of E&O Express and Wolfgang Eipeldauer, Train Manager of E&O Express.
On 20 February 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, organised a Performance Incentive Reward event at North Butterworth Container Terminal to recognise and celebrate the contribution of high-performing employees in container operations.
