On 21 February 2024, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group, successfully completed its first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunkering operation. The landmark event involved the CMA CGM Monaco, a vehicle carrier operated by French shipping giant, CMA CGM.
On 21 February 2024, the iconic Eastern & Oriental Express Train (E&O Express), made a grand stop in Butterworth, Penang, where it was warmly welcomed by Dato' Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), along with Valentin Waldman, General Manager of E&O Express and Wolfgang Eipeldauer, Train Manager of E&O Express.
On 20 February 2024, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, organised a Performance Incentive Reward event at North Butterworth Container Terminal to recognise and celebrate the contribution of high-performing employees in container operations.
On 16 February 2024, Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) and Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), members of MMC Group, organised an appreciation dinner to extend the Chinese New Year festivities and share the joy with their diverse group of customers and stakeholders.

On 5 February 2024, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), a commercial service provider managing Government-owned ports and port facilities in Maldives.
On 5 February 2024, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group organised a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration with students at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Pandamaran Jaya, Port Klang.
Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group will partner with Kaleris to implement its Navis N4 Terminal Operating System starting in January 2024, to accelerate the productivity, efficiency and green operations initiative at the port.
On 24 January 2024, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (“Northport”), a member of MMC Group, successfully maintained its ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (“ABMS”) certification for the next three years until 2026, following a re-certification audit. The certificate, issued by the certification body British Standards Institution Services Malaysia (“BSI”) was presented by the Managing Director of BSI Services Malaysia, Evelyn Chye to Northport’s Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof during a simple ceremony held in Northport.
