On 5 December 2022, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, participated in the Pasir Gudang Emergency Mutual Aid (PAGEMA) Mock Drill Programme 2022.

From 5 to 9 December 2022, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group embarked on a programme to raise awareness about the prevention of corruption and to encourage its employees and stakeholders to actively fight against corruption by organising Integrity Week 2022. The programme was part of the Company’s Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) initiatives, held in conjunction with the International Anti-Corruption Day 2022. 9th December is designated as the International Anti-Corruption Day that is celebrated all over the world annually.

On 2 December 2022, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, organised a Northport Safety Day 2022 for its employees and port users. With the theme “Demi Keluarga Anda, Utamakan Keselamatan” (For Your Family’s Sake, Safety First), the programme aimed at emphasing the importance of prioritising safe and healthy working practices among employees for the sake of their loved ones.

On 1 December 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, welcomed Steve Cox, Chief Operation Officer of Patrick Terminal, Adrian Sandrin, Chief Information Officer of Patrick Terminal and delegation for an inaugural working visit to PTP.

29 - 30 November 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas, a member of MMC Group participated in TOC Asia Conference and Exhibition 2022. The 2 days event, held at Marina Bay Sands Singapore brought together global port and container supply chain industry captains and community across the APAC region to learn, debate and network.

On 29 November 2022, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) member of MMC Group, welcomed Patrick Christoph Georg Jany, Maersk Group CFO and LF Logistics Group delegation for an inaugural working visit to view PTP’s latest development and progress.

From 28 November until 2 December 2022, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group continued to strengthen its commitment towards environmental protection through the Company’s 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) programme known as “Ayuh Kitar Semula” (AKS).

On 24 November 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group participated in GO ESG ASEAN Corporate & Sustainability Summit and Exhibition, organised by UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB).

On 23 November 2022, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of MMC Group, organised its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme by hosting a Blood Donation Drive at the North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT).
