On 1 November 2022, MMC Corporation Berhad and Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport) participated in the Perdana Leadership Foundation CEO Forum 2022 (CEO Forum 2022).

On 20 October 2022, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, through its JP Skills Centre, won the award for the Best TVET Training Provider (Ports & Logistics) in the recent Malaysia Education & TVET Awards 2022 (META 2022).

On 19 October 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, welcomed a group of students from University of Reading, Malaysia.

On 17 October 2022, Tanjung Bruas Port Sdn Bhd (Tanjung Bruas Port), a member of MMC Group, organised a customer awareness programme for its new container feeder service. This event was jointly conducted with CMA CGM Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CMA CGM) and Pos Logistics Berhad (Pos Logistics).

On 13 October 2022, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport) and Port Klang Cruise Terminal (PKCT) received a courtesy visit from the Board of Directors of Port Klang Authority (PKA). The board members were greeted by Northport and PKCT’s Management team, led by Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, Chief Executive Officer of Northport who is also the Chairman of PKCT.

On 12 October 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, received a familiarisation visit by Persero Batam, Indonesia and delegation. The delegation was welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP, Asyraf Suhaimi Sulaiman, Head of MMC Group Strategy & Investments and other members of PTP’s senior management team.

From 6 to 9 October 2022, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, participated in the 6th Selangor International Business Summit 2022 (SIBS 2022). Held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the annual business event was officiated by the Raja Muda of Selangor, DYTM Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj.

On 13 September 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, welcomed YB Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, Chairman of the Investment, Industry and Entrepreneurial Development of Malacca, YB Tuan Ngwe Hee Sem, Chairman of Unity, Human Resources and Consumer Affairs of Malacca and delegation from various Malacca Government agencies for an inaugural working visit to PTP.

On 7 September 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group welcomed a delegation from Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MPAT) for a familiarisation visit.

The royal highness gracefully consented and officiated to launch a joint venture cruise terminal in Port Klang.
