On 23 December 2021, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group collaborated with Penang Port Commission (PPC) and Genting Cruise Lines to relaunch the cruise operations in Malaysia at Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (SPCT), George Town.
On 21 December 2021, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, won the Best Port Safety Management Award for its initiatives in maintaining a high standard of safety and health practices in the workplace, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
