    MMC Ports is Malaysia’s integrated port operator and is a wholly owned subsidiary of MMC Corporation Berhad. MMC Ports is a holding company for its subsidiaries that operate ports across Peninsular Malaysia, namely Port of Tanjung Pelepas and Johor Port in Johor, Northport in Selangor, Penang Port in Penang, Tanjung Bruas Port in Melaka and Andaman Port in Kedah.

    The business of MMC Ports and its subsidiaries also includes a solid product jetty terminal in Johor, ship-to-ship transfer services in Port of Yan in Kedah, and cruise terminals in Penang, Port Klang and Langkawi. Northport (Malaysia) Bhd has received nine units of new rubber tyred gantry (RTG) cranes.The new terminal equipment is the first batch of a total of 23 units of diesel-powered RTGs and 11 units of electrified RTGs or eRTGs purchased by Northport from Mitsui E&S Machinery Co Ltd (Mitsui E&S).
