PUTRAJAYA: Northport (M) Bhd expects rising import volume to continue supporting its conventional cargo volume going forward, while the port buckles up to receive more vessel diversion due to global geopolitical tensions.
NORTHPORT (M) Bhd, a member of MMC Group, has broken its monthly container and conventional cargo throughput records for the second consecutive month.
The record overtakes the previous record of 99,039 TEUs handled in July 2019 JOHOR Port Bhd, a member of MMC Group, recorded its highest monthly t h r o u g h p u t of 102,324 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEUs) in August 2024, making it the highest ever monthly throughout its history and overtaking the previous record of 99,039 TEUs handled in the month of July 2019.

KUANTAN Port Consortium Sdn Bhd, North port (M) Bhd and Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalise collaborative efforts to ensure the realisation of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) land bridge connecting Kuantan Port to Port Klang.
GEORGE TOWN: Penang Port Sdn Bhd expects to handle close to 1.5 million twenty foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cargo this year, slightly above the 1.443 million TEUs managed in 2023.
NORTHPORT (M) Bhd, a member of MMC Group, has broken monthly records in both its container and conventional cargo business segments in July 2024.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Corporation Bhd and APM Terminals, has set a new record of handling 1.1 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) without experiencing congestion last month.
