NORTHPORT (M) Bhd, a member of MMC Group, recently donated 10 wheelchairs to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) in Klang to help provide essential mobility support to needy citizens and patients.
PETALING JAYA: Northport (Malaysia) Bhd, a member of MMC Group, set a record for highest break bulk cargo handling from a single vessel. The milestone was achieved through the handling of 48,853 freight weight tonnes (FWT) of steel from a conventional cargo vessel, MV Jin Chao, surpassing the previous record of 47,246 FWT handled from MV Wu Yi Hai in May 2022.
PORT of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a joint venture (JV) between the MMC Group and APM Terminals, along with the Johor Port Authority (JPA), recently distributed supplies for the new school year to 170 underprivileged primary and secondary students within Gelang Patah, Johor.

PORT of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a joint venture between the MMC Group and APM Terminals, inked an agreement with Sany Marine Heavy Industry Co Ltd to procure six units of ultra-large container vessel (ULCV) quay cranes. The agreement was signed between PTP CEO Mark Hardiman and Sany Marine CEO Jeff Fu on Feb 23,2024.
GEORGE TOWN: Penang welcomed two renowned cruises Genting Dream and Royal Caribbean Spectrum Of The Seas which concurrently docked at the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal on Tuesday. Penang State Tourism and Creative Economy chairman Wong Hon Wai said Penang being situated strategically in the heart of Southeast Asia serves as an ideal port of call for cruise liners traversing the region.
ISKANDAR PUTERI: Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, made another significant milestone with the successful completion of its first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunkering operation. The landmark event involved the CMA CGM Monaco, a 14,024 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) capacity containership operated by French shipping giant CMA CGM.
GELANG PATAH: Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, secured another milestone when the terminal successfully set a new shift volume record with 13,725 quayside moves in a single 12-hour shift, breaking its own previous shift record of 13,700 moves set in 2023.
