Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Terberg Tractors Malaysia (TTM) to develop a comprehensive study on the viability of deploying autonomous driving terminal tractors to transfer containers within the terminal.
Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group has set a new world record to depart a vessel with a final load over 19,000 TEUs.
Northport (Malaysia) Bhd, (“Northport”), a member of MMC Group, recently clocked another impressive milestone in its 118-year history when it became the first Malaysian port to be awarded the ISO 45001:2018 standard. The Lloyd’s Register’s Assessor Manager/Country Lead for Malaysia, En. Mohamed Azhar Sulaiman officially handed over the ISO certificate to Northport’s CEO, Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof in a ceremony held at Northport on 27 May 2019.
Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group has successfully sealed an agreement with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to develop a comprehensive safety training programme for port workers.

Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, together with Johor Port Authority (JPA) and Kelab Alami Mukim Tanjung Kupang continue to reinforce its commitment in managing the local eco-system by collaborating in the planting of 600 mangrove saplings in Tanjung Adang coastal area near Gelang Patah.

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd ("Northport") and Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd ("PROTON") formed a collaboration through the signing of a strategic collaboration and services agreement in relation to the port services to be provided by Northport to PROTON which include vehicle storage as well as to manage the handling of Proton vehicles at the terminal. Meanwhile, PROTON will continue to use Northport as their home port for export, import and transhipment of all types of Proton vehicles.
