ISKANDAR PUTERI, 5 June 2025 - Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between Malaysia-based MMC Group and Netherlands-based APM Terminals set a new benchmark by handling 1,269,389 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in a single month for May 2025.
PASIR GUDANG, 5 June 2025 – Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, marked a significant milestone in its ongoing transformation journey with the signing ceremony for the procurement of four (4) state-of-the-art Level Luffing cranes to be installed at its Conventional Terminal.

PORT KLANG, 28 April 2025 - Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (“Northport”), a member of MMC Group, in collaboration with the Center for Logistics Leadership in Business (“CLLB”) Sdn Bhd and KPX Sdn Bhd (“KPX”), organised a training programme for car-carrier drivers aimed at enhancing the safety and operational efficiency in the handling and transportation of electric vehicles (“EV”).

The event, themed "Anchoring Sustainability for a Better Tomorrow," was organised to demonstrate Johor Port's dedication to integrating sustainability into its core business strategies and brought together key stakeholders, industry experts and representatives from Government Agencies to reaffirm Johor Port's commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (“Northport”), a member of MMC Group, was recognised as one of the recipients in the ‘Low Carbon Zone’ category at the 2024 Low Carbon Cities Award. The award presentation ceremony was held at Sofitel Hotel Kuala Lumpur Damansara on 26 February 2025. Northport’s Chief Executive Officer, Fakhrul Azhar Tajudin, received the award on behalf of the company from the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, has made another significant investment by signing an agreement with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) for the purchase of 58 eco-efficient electrified rubber-tyred gantry (e-RTG) cranes.
