Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, has made another significant investment by signing an agreement with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) for the purchase of 58 eco-efficient electrified rubber-tyred gantry (e-RTG) cranes.
Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (“Northport”), a member of MMC Group, was honoured with the "Excellence in Automotive Sustainability Management Best Practices" award at the 20th Malaysia Car of the Year (“MCOTY”) 2024. The prestigious award event, co-organised by Mobility Media Sdn. Bhd. and the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (“MARii”), an agency under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (“MITI”), was held at Perdana Hall, MITI Tower in Kuala Lumpur.
Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between Malaysia based MMC Group and Netherlands-based APM Terminals, achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first container terminal in Malaysia to handle over 12,253,309 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in a single year for the year 2024.
Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (“Northport), a member of MMC Group, celebrated a historic milestone today as the Taiwan-based shipping lines, Wan Hai Lines (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Wan Hai”) and Interasia Lines (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Interasia”) successfully achieved a combined throughput of two million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) in a single year at Northport.
