Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, has successfully completed the first methanol bunkering operation for a Maersk dual-fuel methanol container vessel recently.

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd ("Northport"), a member of MMC Group, announced the completion of its latest container yard, Block K. This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone in Northport's ongoing commitment to enhancing its capabilities and service offerings.
Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, has taken another significant step in its expansion plans by signing an agreement with Sany Marine Heavy Industry Co Ltd for the purchase of four new quay cranes.
Northport (Malaysia) Bhd ("Northport"), a member of MMC Group, has once again set a new record for the highest break bulk cargo handling from a single vessel. Northport achieved this milestone with the handling of 52,480 Freight Weight Tonnes (“FWTs”) of steel cargo from a conventional cargo vessel, MV African Blackbird. This surpasses the previous record of 48,853 FWTs, set in March 2024 from MV Jin Chao.
Johor Port Berhad (“Johor Port”), a member of MMC Group, recorded its highest monthly throughput of 102,324 TEUs in August 2024, making it the highest ever monthly throughout in its history and overtaking the previous record of 99,039 TEUs handled in the month of July 2019.
Northport (Malaysia) Bhd ("Northport"), a member of MMC Group, has achieved another milestone by breaking its monthly container and conventional cargo throughput records for the second consecutive month.

Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn Bhd (“Kuantan Port”), a subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (“Northport”), a member of MMC Group, and Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (“MRL”) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) to formalise collaborative efforts to ensure the realisation of the East Coast Rail Link ("ECRL") land bridge connecting Kuantan Port to Port Klang, enhancing connectivity, seamless integration, efficiency and streamlined transfer of goods between the two ports.
