Tan Sri Che Khalib was appointed as a Director of the Company on 25 November 2014 and was redesignated as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman on 23 April 2025.

He was admitted as an associate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) in 1995 and became a Fellow member in 2000. He has been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 2001 and is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (“ICDM”).

Tan Sri Che Khalib began his career with Messrs. Ernst & Young in 1989 before joining Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad. Between 1992 and 1999, he served in several companies within the Renong Group. In June 1999, Tan Sri Che Khalib joined Ranhill Utilities Berhad as the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). He then assumed the position of Managing Director and CEO of KUB Malaysia Berhad. Tan Sri Che Khalib was then appointed as the President/CEO of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (“TNB”) on 1 July 2004, where he served for eight (8) years until the completion of his contract on 30 June 2012. He then joined DRB-HICOM Berhad as the Chief Operating Officer of Finance, Strategy and Planning in July 2012.

Tan Sri Che Khalib was previously a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) and the Executive Committee of Khazanah Nasional Berhad between 2000 to 2004. He also served as a Board member within the United Engineers Malaysia Group of companies and Bank Industri & Teknologi Malaysia Berhad.

Tan Sri Che Khalib is currently the Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad (“MMC”). He also serves on the Boards of Gas Malaysia Berhad and Malakoff Corporation Berhad, both listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. In addition, he sits on Johor Port Berhad, MMC Engineering Group Berhad, Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, NCB Holdings Berhad, Kontena Nasional Berhad, and Northport (Malaysia) Bhd. He is also a Board member of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin and several private limited companies.
